By the end of this guide, you'll be signed in to Cura and looking at your account for the very first time — ready to set up your workspace. It takes a couple of minutes, and you only do it once.

## Before you begin

* The email address you used (or were invited with) to join Cura.
* Access to that email inbox, in case you need to confirm a sign-in code or link.

***

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Cura">
    * **Go to the Cura web app** in your browser. We recommend a recent version of Chrome, Safari, or Edge.
    * **Bookmark the page** so you can come back to it quickly each day.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in">
    Cura handles sign-in securely through **Clerk**, our trusted login provider. You won't need to remember a separate Cura password if you sign in with an email link or a connected account.

    * **Enter your email address** on the sign-in screen.
    * **Choose how to sign in** — follow the on-screen option, whether that's a one-time code sent to your email, a magic link, or a connected account.
    * **Confirm your identity** if prompted, then you're in.

    <Tip>
      If you were invited by a teammate, sign in with the *exact* email address the invitation was sent to. Using a different address can create a separate, empty account.
    </Tip>

    <Check>You're signed in — Cura now knows who you are.</Check>
  </Step>

  <Step title="Land in your account">
    The first time you sign in to a brand-new account, Cura takes you straight into a short setup wizard. It starts with your website: you paste a link, Cura reads your site, and it drafts your AI before you confirm a few basics. We cover the whole flow in [First-time setup](/getting-started/first-time-setup).

    <Note>
      Already part of a team that's set up? You'll land in the **Inbox** instead, ready to start working.
    </Note>
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Troubleshooting

* **The sign-in code or link didn't arrive.** Check your spam folder, wait a minute, and request a new one. Make sure you typed your email correctly.
* **You landed in an empty account.** You may have signed in with the wrong email. Sign out and try again with the address your invitation was sent to.
* **You're stuck on a loading screen.** Refresh the page, or try a different browser. A private/incognito window rules out browser extensions getting in the way.
