Before you begin
- Know which workspace (business or branch) you’re trying to reach.
- Have a way to contact an Admin on your account, in case they need to grant you access.
1. Confirm the workspace exists on your account
A workspace lives under your account — make sure it hasn’t simply not been created yet.- Open your workspace switcher and review the list you can see.
- If the branch was never set up, an Admin needs to create it first. See Workspaces explained.
2. Check your role and access
What you can see depends on your role. Staff members only see the workspaces and teams they’ve been given access to; Admins and Managers see more.- Ask an Admin to confirm your role and which workspaces it includes.
- If you should have access but don’t, have the Admin add you to that workspace.
Once you’re added to the workspace, it appears in your switcher and you can switch into it.
3. Refresh after changes
Permission changes don’t always appear instantly in a tab you’ve had open for a while.- Refresh the page or sign out and back in.
- Confirm the workspace now shows in the switcher.
4. Note what’s hidden without access
Some things in Cura are scoped to workspaces you can see — so missing access can look like missing features.- Conversations in a workspace you can’t see won’t appear in your Inbox.
- The Unrouted filter (conversations with no workspace yet) is visible only to Admins and Managers, so Staff won’t find it at all.
With the right role and a refresh, every workspace you’ve been granted will be visible and switchable.
