Before you begin
- An active Cura account and your sign-in details.
- Admin access to at least one messaging channel you want to connect (e.g. your LINE Official Account, Instagram, or WhatsApp Business number).
- A few minutes of business info handy: your services, prices, opening hours, and answers to your most common customer questions.
- Set up — paste your website and let Cura draft your AI, then confirm the basics.
- Connect — link your first messaging channel.
- Train — teach the AI about your services, prices, and FAQs.
- Go live & watch — turn the AI on and monitor it from the Inbox.
1
Set up your workspace
The first time an admin signs in to a brand-new account, Cura walks you through a short setup wizard. Rather than filling everything in by hand, it starts from your website: you paste a link, Cura reads your site, and it drafts your AI’s services, prices, and guidance for you to review.
- Paste your website URL on the Let’s start with a link screen. Cura reads your pages — usually 45 to 90 seconds — and drafts your business name, Services, prices, and how your AI should talk.
- Review what Cura found: uncheck anything wrong, then keep the rest. Only what you approve is used.
- Confirm the basics: your workspace name, timezone, currency, default response language, and logo — then click Enter Cura.
Your workspace is built — from your own website, in your own words — and your AI is drafted and ready to review.
For a full walkthrough of the setup wizard, see First-time setup. Running more than one branch? You can add extra workspaces later from Settings → Workspaces.
2
Connect your first channel
A channel is a messaging platform your customers use. Connecting one lets Cura send and receive messages there.
- Open Integrations → Channels from the main navigation.
- Choose a channel to connect — LINE, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, Telegram, or a website widget.
- Follow the connection steps for that platform. Each one is a short guided flow.
A channel is connected — incoming messages will now appear in your Inbox.
3
Train your AI
Your AI is only as good as what it knows. Spend the most time here — it pays off in every conversation.
- Build your Knowledge Base: upload documents (PDF, Word, text, or Markdown) describing your business, policies, and treatments. See Build your Knowledge Base.
- Add Services and prices: so the AI can quote accurately and book the right treatment. See Adding Services and prices.
- Add FAQs: capture your most common questions with the exact answers you’d want a customer to hear. See Adding FAQs.
- Set the AI’s tone and length: choose how it should sound and how long its replies run. See Setting your AI’s tone and length.
- Set escalation rules: tell Cura when to hand a conversation to a human. See Escalation: when the AI hands off to a human.
Your AI knows your business and how you want it to communicate.
4
Go live and watch
Now let Cura take the desk — with you watching over its shoulder.
- Turn on the AI for your channel using the per-channel Master AI switch. See The Master AI switch.
- (Optional) Set an AI schedule so the AI only replies during business hours, or let it run 24/7. See Setting an AI schedule.
- Send a test message from your own phone through the connected channel and watch Cura respond in the Inbox.
- Stay in the Inbox for the first day. You can take over any conversation instantly if you want to step in. See Taking over from the AI.
Cura is live. You’re now answering every customer in seconds.
What to do next
- Watch the first conversations closely. If the AI gets something wrong, add or fix a Knowledge Base entry, FAQ, or Service — it answers from what you give it.
- Connect more channels so every customer reaches the same smart Inbox.
- Set up Workflows to automate reminders and follow-ups once the basics feel solid.
Troubleshooting
- The AI isn’t replying. Check that Master AI is on for the channel, that any AI schedule includes the current time, and that the conversation isn’t already being handled by a person. See The Master AI switch.
- Messages aren’t arriving. Reconnect the channel from Integrations → Channels and confirm it shows as connected.
