Setting up Cura goes faster — and runs better day to day — when your team is in it with you. By the end of this guide, your colleagues will have access to Cura and the right level of permission, so they can help train the AI, watch the Inbox, and handle conversations.

Before you begin

  • You’re an admin on the account. Admins manage who’s in and what they can do.
  • The email addresses of the people you want to add.
  • A rough idea of what each person should do — handle conversations, or also configure settings.

1

Understand the roles

Cura has two layers of access, so people only see what they need:
  • Organization role — Admin or Member. This is set when you invite someone. Admins can configure the whole account: channels, the AI, workflows, teams, and settings. Members focus on the day-to-day work in the Inbox.
  • Workspace role — Manager or Staff. Within a workspace, managers oversee and configure; staff handle conversations and bookings. You assign these in Settings → Workspaces.
Org admins automatically have access to every workspace and act as managers there — you don’t need to add them to each workspace by hand. Workspace roles only apply to members.
2

Invite your teammates

Member invites and roles are handled in Cura’s hosted Manage organization screen:
  • Open the profile menu — click your avatar in the top-right corner.
  • Choose “Manage organization.” This opens the organization modal.
  • Go to the Members section and invite by email. Use the exact address each person will sign in with, and pick their organization role (Admin or Member) as you invite them.
Use each person’s real, individual email address. Sharing one login makes it impossible to tell who replied to whom — and breaks reporting.
Your teammates receive an invitation and can sign in to Cura.
3

Assign workspace roles

Once someone has accepted their invite, give them the right access inside each location:
  • Open Settings → Workspaces and choose the workspace they’ll work in.
  • Add the member and set their workspace roleManager for anyone who oversees that location, or Staff for front-desk team members who work the Inbox and bookings.
  • Repeat for each workspace a person needs. (Org admins already have access everywhere, so you can skip this for them.)
Everyone has the access that matches their job — no more, no less.
4

Point them to the basics

Help your team get productive on day one:
Divide and conquer the setup. One person can train the AI while another connects channels and a third tests with real messages. Use the quick-start checklist to split the work.

Troubleshooting

  • A teammate landed in an empty account. They likely signed in with a different email than the one you added. Have them sign out and use the exact address you invited.
  • A teammate can’t see a setting. That area is probably admin-only. Check their role, or have an admin handle it.
