Overview

TikTok channel connectivity can bring supported TikTok conversations into Cura so teams can respond with the same workflows they use elsewhere. Because TikTok channel APIs are permissioned, availability depends on your account type, region, and partner access status.

What this channel can support

Depending on your approved access scope:
  • Direct message ingestion and replies
  • Comment or lead-message workflows tied to TikTok campaigns
  • Assignment and QA workflows inside Cura

Requirements

Before setup, ensure:
  • You use a TikTok Business account
  • Direct messaging is enabled in TikTok account settings (if required by your use case)
  • Your organization has approved TikTok integration access with Cura
  • You have workspace admin permissions in Cura

Setup

  1. In Cura, go to Settings > Connect channels > TikTok.
  2. Click Connect TikTok.
  3. Complete TikTok authorization and grant requested permissions.
  4. Select the TikTok account and map it to a Cura inbox.
  5. Run a test message flow and confirm it appears in Cura.

Important limitations

TikTok feature availability can vary by market and API access level. Some accounts may have partial functionality until broader permissions are approved.

Troubleshooting

  • If TikTok is not listed, your workspace may not yet have TikTok access enabled.
  • If events are missing, verify callback permissions and event subscriptions.
  • If responses fail, re-authorize TikTok and confirm message permissions are still active.
